Ingredients
- 24 oz button mushrooms
- 1/4 cup minced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup minced celery
- 1/4 cup minced yellow onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp old bay seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
- 1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
- 4 oz fresh crab meat
- 1/2 cup grated gouda cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
Steps
- Heat the oven to 400 F and place the mushroom caps in a baking pan.
- Melt the butter in a skillet and cook the bell pepper, celery, onion, and garlic for 6 minutes.
- Mix the cooked vegetables with crab, Old Bay, garlic powder, salt, paprika, Gouda, and panko.
- Fill the mushroom caps and bake for 15 minutes, until hot and lightly browned.
