- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
- 1 broiler/fryer chicken
- oil for frying (optional)
Steps
- Cut the chicken into 8 pieces and pat them dry.
- Mix flour, garlic salt, pepper, paprika, and poultry seasoning in a shallow dish.
- Whisk the egg and milk in a second shallow dish.
- Dip each chicken piece in the egg mixture, then coat it with seasoned flour.
- Heat 1/4 inch oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken for 10 to 12 minutes per side until golden and 165 F inside.
