- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp maraschino cherry juice
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 6 drops red food coloring (optional)
- 1 1/8 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- 30 milk chocolate kisses
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F.
- Beat the butter, powdered sugar, and salt until creamy.
- Mix in the cherry juice, almond extract, and food coloring if using.
- Stir in the flour, then fold in the chopped cherries.
- Shape the dough into 24 balls and place them on lined baking sheets.
