Ingredients
- 1 prepared angel food cake
- 1 box (3 1/2 oz) instant vanilla pudding
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 1 tub cool whip
Steps
- Whisk the pudding mix and milk in a large bowl for 2 minutes, then let it stand for 5 minutes.
- Stir the sour cream into the pudding until smooth.
- Cut the angel food cake into 1-inch cubes.
- Layer half the cake cubes, pudding mixture, cherry filling, and cool whip in a 9-by-13-inch dish.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and chill the cake for 4 hours before serving.
