Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 lb smoked kielbasa or polish sausage
- 1 cup ketchup
- 3/7 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- hot cooked rice (optional)
Steps
- Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.
- Melt the butter in a small grill-safe pan, then cook the sliced onion for 4 minutes.
- Stir the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce into the pan, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Grill the kielbasa for 6 to 8 minutes, turning often, until hot and lightly browned.
- Brush the kielbasa with sauce and grill for 1 minute per side.
