Steps

Heat the oven to 375 F and boil the pasta 3 minutes short of done.
Brown the sausage with garlic and stir in the sauce.
Mix the pasta with the sauce and sausage, then layer half in a dish.
Dollop on cottage cheese and half the mozzarella, then add the rest of the pasta.
Top with mozzarella and Parmesan and bake 25 minutes.
