Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 lb extra-lean ground turkey
- 1 small onion
- 1 can (8 oz) sliced water chestnuts
- 1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup egg substitute
- 3/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 package (12 oz) wonton wrappers

- sweet-and-sour sauce (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 400 F and coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Mix the pork, turkey, onion, water chestnuts, soy sauce, egg substitute, and ginger in a bowl.
- Place about one tablespoon of filling in each wonton wrapper, moisten the edges with water, and press them closed.
- Arrange the wontons on the baking sheet and coat them lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake for 16 to 20 minutes, turning once, until browned and the filling reaches 160 F.
- Check that the thickest part of the poultry reaches 165 F before serving.
- Serve with sweet-and-sour sauce if using.
