Ingredients
- 10 oz bag + 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cup diced dried apple
- 2 cups quick oats
- 4 cups rice krispie cereal
- caramel sauce
Steps
- Grease an 8-inch square pan with some of the butter.
- Melt the remaining butter in a large pot over low heat, then stir in the marshmallows until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Fold in the dried apple, quick oats, and rice cereal until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan and chill for 50 minutes.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the chilled treats and cut them into squares.
