Ingredients
- neutral oil for the tin
- 150 g self-raising flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 200 ml milk
- 1 apple cored and very thinly sliced
- berries and maple syrup (optional)
Steps
- Preheat the air fryer to 350 F for 5 minutes and brush a 7-inch air-fryer-safe tin with neutral oil.
- Whisk self-raising flour, baking powder, and caster sugar in a medium bowl.
- Whisk the egg and milk together, then stir them into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Arrange the thin apple slices over the batter in the prepared tin.
- Air-fry the pancake for 10 to 12 minutes, until puffed, browned, and firm in the center.
- Rest the pancake for 3 minutes before removing it from the tin.
