Ingredients
- 3 cups canadian flour
- 1 stick butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds for decoration
- 3 sticks butter at room temperature
- 1 can cooked sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup toasted chopped hazelnuts
Steps
- Beat 1 stick butter, sugar, and salt in a bowl for 2 minutes, then mix in the egg and sour cream.
- Stir the baking soda with vinegar, add it and the flour to the bowl, and chill the dough for 10 minutes.
- Roll the dough into thin ropes on a greased baking sheet and bake at 350 F for 15 minutes.
- Cool the baked dough for 10 minutes, then break it into small crumbs.
- Beat the 3 sticks butter with the cooked condensed milk until smooth, about 5 minutes.
- Mix the crumbs with the cream and hazelnuts, shape a mound, sprinkle with poppy seeds, and chill for 15 minutes.
