Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips
Steps
- Heat the oven to 300 F and spread the flour on a baking sheet.
- Bake the flour for 7 minutes, then cool it completely.
- Beat the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until creamy.
- Mix in the cooled flour and salt, then fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Shape the dough into 20 small balls and chill them for 60 minutes.
- Melt the remaining chocolate chips in a bowl over simmering water, dip the balls, and chill for 30 minutes.
