Buckeye Brownies with cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box (16 oz) betty crocker® original supreme brownie mix
  • water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with some butter.
  2. Stir the brownie mix with the water called for on the box and 1/2 cup melted butter.
  3. Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 20 to 22 minutes.
  4. Mix the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk in a bowl while the brownies bake.
  5. Spread the peanut butter mixture over the warm brownies and cool for 3 minutes.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips with 1/4 cup butter, spread the mixture on top, and cool for 5 minutes.
