Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 3 cups spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 package (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach
- 1 dash nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
- Boil the penne until just tender, about 9 minutes, then drain it.
- Warm the cream cheese and milk in a saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Stir in the spinach, nutmeg, parmesan, salt, and pepper, then cook for 3 minutes.
- Combine the pasta, cream sauce, and spaghetti sauce in the baking dish, then top with mozzarella.
- Bake for 25 minutes until hot and bubbling.
