Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 1 lb italian sausage
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 packages (10 oz) frozen spinach
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 lb shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb ricotta cheese
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper
Steps
- Set the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and heat the oven to 375 F for 10 minutes.
- Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat for 10 minutes, breaking it apart until it reaches 160 F.
- Squeeze the thawed spinach dry, then mix it with the sausage, eggs, ricotta, mozzarella, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for 10 minutes.
- Pour the filling into the crust and bake at 375 F for 45 minutes, until the eggs are firm.
- Cool the pie in the pan for 20 minutes before cutting.
