Ingredients
- 9 large russet potatoes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp onion salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chives
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
Steps
- Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks, then boil them in salted water for 20 minutes until tender.
- Drain and mash the potatoes with the sour cream, cream cheese, onion salt, garlic powder, and chives.
- Spread the potatoes in a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish and top with cheddar, breadcrumbs, and butter.
- Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes, until hot and lightly browned.
- Rest the potatoes for 5 minutes before serving.
