Ingredients
- 12 cannelloni
- 2 1/2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 package frozen chopped spinach
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and boil the cannelloni in salted water for 5 minutes, then drain them carefully.
- Thaw and squeeze the spinach dry, then mix it with ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, eggs, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
- Spread 1 cup marinara and the water in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
- Fill the cannelloni with the cheese mixture and arrange them in the dish.
- Cover the tubes with the remaining marinara and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over them.
- Cover the dish and bake for 25 minutes, uncover it and bake for 10 minutes, then rest for 10 minutes.
